Food court and security office

My father parked near, then entered and exited the food court entrance. The security office is just off the food court near the bathrooms and the sign is labeled as Wilmorite. On a walk on April 10th, no security officers were seen in the mall. A truck was parked outside near the entrance under a security CCTV camera.

Inside the food court, my father removed his jacket and placed it on a chair while he walked. This is normal, others do it as well. I took a picture as such on April 10th show below. Security office just to right of photo.

There is also a Sheriff's outpost in the mall. Closed early on Sunday the 10th at 8:15am

My father fell on black ice and despite the security office being an estimated 50 yards away, AND camerias on the scene, no one came out to assist him for many minutes. It seems no officers were in the mall and WERE NOT even watching the security cameras. He could have froze to death if not for a fellow mall walker.

Eastview Mall's plowing and salting trucks

On driving around Eastview Mall on April 10th, it is clear they maintain a full plowing and salting facility on site. A large shed, truck and construction movers with plows are located behind the LL Bean outbuilding store on the Eastview Property. There is an open garage with a LARGE salt storage facility. Yellow truck filled with salt. The trucks are labeled "Wilmorite Management Group." My guess, based on this, is that they do their OWN snow and ice removal (and salting) and does not contract that work out.

The Security Office is just off the food court, which is the entrance where the fall occurred. On the day I took these photos a Security truck was parked there, an estimated 100 feet for where the fall took place. Also note security camera which would have filmed the fall.

Witness and black ice

Possible second witness. He came on scene a little later.

This is our unknown witness. This was the man who went to get security. Photo taken by Don Anderson as he was lying on the ground at Eastview. Black ice in foreground.
